The launch of Coe Operations Key Facts is the direct result of a long retired lecturer and computing consultant being asked by their granddaughter for a World Flags test with maps on her phone. Now that it works as intended, it is offered free of charge to a wider audience.

Android installers are temporarily withdrawn until I examine a fault with
backspacing in a Webview on some devices. Instead of deleting selected text
the cursor goes to the beginning of input without deleting anything.

Coe Operations World Flags is a test and training app to improve your knowledge of the world's flags, capital cities and ability to place countries on a map. It includes links to Kiddle (Kids Encyclopedia Facts) or Wikipedia for further information.

World Flags is the natural progression from a spreadsheet of European flags created years ago for my granddaughter and her primary school by her father, comprising hyperlinks to maps and Kiddle. When asked for an opinion, I copied it to a simple web page as shown above.
I don't know how much it spurred her interest in flags and geography, but she can now identify most in a flash and asked for a flags test with maps on her phone while I was coding something else for personal use.
The following US States and GB Counties apps are exactly the same as their World Flags counterpart apart from their respective data and resource files and can similarly be played in your browser by clicking their icons.
Coe Operations Film Stars is an app about film stars where you can learn and be tested on your ability to identify them. There are now 250 stars with more being added in the coming weeks and months.
There are links from their pictures to their corresponding Wikipedia bio page and to their filmography from in character shots, which are predominately chosen from films suitable for a younger audience.
Film Stars can also help overcome mental blocks with people names. Click the icon above to play in your browser.
Gathering material for a Film Stars app began in early September 2025 as a surprise for my granddaughter's thirteenth birthday. Not exactly educational in the academic sense of the word, it is attuned to her interests. She is an attendee of the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts and something of an aficionado when it comes to films and their cast.
Coe Operations Historic Buildings is an app to test and broaden your knowledge of Historic Buildings. It includes links to Kiddle (Kids Encyclopedia Facts) or Wikipedia for further information and to their respective websites.
As a family member of the National Trust, my granddaughter loves her visits to historic sites. It never ceases to amaze how much she gleans and can recount from just one visit. That is why I have provided an app that links to further information.
Coincidentally the father of one of her best friends was working on the restoration of Chatsworth House when they met at primary school. It should be noted that Chatsworth is not a National Trust site.
Coe Operations Bare Bones is an app where you can learn about and be tested on your knowledge of the human skeleton. It includes links to Kiddle or Wikipedia for further information.
